External Affairs minister unable to speak..!?
The Monsoon Session of the parliament is going to be uproarious due to the demand for a discussion on the Manipur violence and PM Modi's statement in the House. On Thursday, External Affairs minister S. jaishankar could not speak in the rajya sabha due to opposition MPs. After Foreign minister S. Jaishankar's speech was interrupted, he spoke on various issues in the public domain on Friday. He issued a 21-minute statement on recent developments in indian foreign policy. jaishankar said that the opposition repeatedly interrupted my speech in both houses of Parliament. For him, partisan politics was more important than national progress.
When jaishankar was speaking in the rajya sabha on Thursday, a slogan war broke out between the nda and the indian MPs. The nda mp started shouting 'Modi-Modi' slogans while the opposition mp started shouting India-India slogans. jaishankar said that if you claim to be I.N.D.I.A. and you are not ready to listen to India's national interests, then what is I.N.D.I.A.? Talking about the Prime Minister's foreign visits and India's approach to foreign countries, jaishankar said it was unfortunate that these issues were not allowed to be debated in parliament with the seriousness they deserved. At a time when international affairs have become unprecedented and complex, our people-centered foreign policy has come true to the demands and aspirations of our society. Today the world believes that when india speaks, it speaks not only for itself but also for many others. india speaks as the voice of peace, security, and prosperity for all.
