Telangana govt sanctions new Government Junior College at Bibipet mandal

The State government approved on friday the opening of a new government junior college in the kamareddy district's Bibipet mandal for the academic year 2023–2024. On friday, July 28, 2023, a government Order (GO Rt No 156) to that effect was published. The GO stated that further action in this regard will be taken by the telangana Commissioner of Intermediate Education.

The State government approved a new government junior college on wednesday in the kodangal constituency of the Vikarabad district's Doultabad mandal. The junior college will start this academic year, citing directives from the Higher education department. As a result, the state would have 410 government junior colleges. To take further action in this case, the Commissioner of Intermediate education has been contacted.

In a significant move, the State government on tuesday resolved to cover the whole application price for bc students from telangana who get admitted to more than 200 elite schools, including the IITs, IIMs, and national research institutes. On tuesday, Gangula Kamalakar, the minister for bc Welfare, stated that the sc and st students have so far been subject to the full fee payment policy. But starting this academic year, the initiative of paying a fee will also be applied to bc students, he added, in accordance with the instructions of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
