Railway Stations in Telangana would be Upgraded and provided Modern Facilities at 894 Crores
The program would encompass stations with annual revenues between 20 crores and 500 crores, stations with a high tourist and pilgrimage volume, as well as stations with local relevance. The stations will be reconstructed, connected with the communities on both sides, and upgraded to provide passengers with improved food, lavatory, and transportation options.
The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme will soon see the development of eleven railway stations in the vijayawada division of the South Central Railway (SCR) zone. On Sunday, vijayawada Division Divisional Railway Manager narendra Anandrao Patil made this announcement. Anakapalle, bhimavaram Town, Eluru, kakinada Town, Narsapur, Nidadavolu, Ongole, Singarayakonda, Tadepelligudem, Tenali, and tuni are the stations that will be involved in the first phase of significant renovations.
The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme's primary goal is to improve passengers' entire experience. This entails enhancing the flow of traffic, ease, and integration of the stations with the local community. The goal is to improve the look and feel of several passenger amenities.
