The ongoing deadlock in the rajya sabha over the Manipur violence may end. Sources told ABP news that the central government has agreed to debate on the issue of Manipur in the Rajya Sabha. Sources said that this discussion can be held on august 11, the last day of the monsoon session.
On thursday (August 3) itself, home minister amit shah said in the Lok Sabha, "Debate as long as you want on Manipur, I am ready to answer." The priority of the opposition is to save its alliance. The opposition is not worried about Manipur.
Since the beginning of the monsoon session of Parliament, opposition parties have been demanding prime minister Narendra Modi to make a statement on the Manipur violence in the House. On this, the government is saying that we are ready for discussion, but the opposition parties are running away from the discussion.

Amidst the deadlock, leader of the house in rajya sabha Piyush Goyal and Parliamentary Affairs minister Prahlad Joshi held a meeting with the opposition leaders on Thursday. According to the news agency PTI, during this time the leaders of the constituents of the opposition coalition 'India' suggested that there should be no time limit during the discussion on Manipur.
