Election Survey: Who is expected to get what percentage of votes?


All parties have started preparations for the lok sabha elections to be held in 2024. A new alliance of 26 opposition parties, including the congress, has been formed to challenge the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA. On the other hand, the BJP-led nda has also stepped up its preparations. However, how effective 'India' will prove to be in front of nda instead of UPA alliance of congress, it will be known after the election results next year. UPA gain of 61 seats in the survey?

India Today C-Voter had conducted a survey at the end of january this year. According to its result, the seat and vote share of the Congress-led coalition is expected to increase significantly in the elections to be held next year. congress got only 52 seats in the 2019 lok sabha elections. While the UPA alliance won a total of 91 seats.


According to the estimates of this survey, the nda is expected to win 298 out of the total 543 seats in the Lok Sabha. Whereas in 2019, the nda got a total of 353 seats, in this context, the seats of the nda are expected to decline. On the other hand, UPA alliance of congress can get 61 seats more than in 2019 elections. The congress alliance is expected to get 153 seats in the upcoming lok sabha elections. While others can get 92 seats.

nda or opposition, who gets how much vote share?

If we look at the vote share figures of Sarva, here too the congress alliance is expected to benefit as compared to the 2019 elections. The survey indicates that nda will get the maximum vote share. The BJP-led nda is expected to get a bumper 43 per cent vote share. Which is 2 percent less than the last election. On the other hand, the UPA's vote share in 2024 is estimated to be close to 29 per cent as against the 19.66 per cent vote share that the congress got in the 2019 lok sabha elections. Other parties like regional parties can get 28 percent vote share. The 2024 lok sabha elections are likely to be held in the month of april or May next year.
