According to Satyavathi Rathod, the minister for Tribal Welfare, the BRS administration in the state has aided in the development of a golden period for tribal welfare as the Chief minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, is making every effort to connect with the communities of forest dwellers. In response to a brief debate on "Tribal welfare in the state - distribution of Podu land pattas," she stated that the issuing of Podu land pattas to the tribal farmers in exchange for the land they were using would have a significant impact.

She said that where the previous administration had failed, the BRS government had succeeded. A total of 1.5 lakh tribal farmers received podu pattas from the government, granting them ownership rights to 4.06 lakh acres. Farmers in the tribal communities who got Podu pattas received Rythu Bandhu support on par with farmers in the plains. She promised that all persons qualified for the issuance of Podu pattas would be taken into account and that the official machinery will investigate any omissions or commissions that may have occurred throughout the procedure.

The government had already dropped the charges it had previously brought against the tribal farmers who were farming podu lands at the DFO level. The procedure to withdraw all court proceedings will be started by the forest officials in collaboration with the director general of police. She asserted that safeguarding the rights of the podu land farmers and safeguarding the current woods were equally crucial. In indigenous regions, medical colleges have government approval. The health care provided to native communities would be improved because to this programme.

She urged the Centre to grant the Sammaka Saralamma jathara, one of the biggest tribal carnivals in the world that draws pilgrims from various indian states, the title of national festival. Speaking out strongly against the bjp government at the federal level for its nebulous promises on tribal welfare that proved to be nothing more than lip service, she claimed that the conflict in Manipur, which had cost a significant amount of lives, was primarily caused by the Modi Sarkar's political manoeuvres to divide the tribal communities.
