supreme court dismisses Senthil Balaji's petition..!?

The supreme court dismissed the petitions filed by minister Senthil Balaji. The supreme court dismissed the petition of minister Senthil Balaji. minister Senthil balaji was allegedly involved in money laundering by claiming to get jobs in the transport sector and was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. He was admitted to the hospital due to chest pain and underwent heart surgery on june 21.

Following his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate, Senthil Balaji's wife filed a writ petition in the madras High Court. A two-judge bench initially heard the case and the judgment was transferred to a 3rd judge as two judges differed in their verdict. The petition came up for hearing before the third judge CV Karthikeyan. He also ruled in favor of the enforcement department.

In this case, an appeal was filed in the supreme court by Senthil balaji, who said that the enforcement department's arrest was wrong and that he should not be taken into custody and questioned. This petition was heard by Justice Bopanna and Justice M.M. Sundaresh came up for hearing in the session. In today's hearing, Senthil Balaji's pleas have been dismissed and an order has been passed. It has been informed that the enforcement department is correct in arresting and investigation can be done. This is a major setback for Senthil Balaji.

Even when the argument was presented by Senthil balaji that the health condition of minister Senthil balaji should be taken into consideration during the investigation of this case, the enforcement department said that we are taking care of it. Today's verdict frees the hands of the enforcement agencies and he is expected to be brought into the ring soon.

Chances for Senthil balaji are now slim. It is said that keeping in mind his health, there is only scope for him to recuse himself from the investigation and otherwise the supreme court has approved his arrest. This judgment has come entirely in favor of the enforcement department. It is to be noted that the Enforcement Department has been given permission to detain and interrogate minister Senthil balaji for another 5 days.
