13 Lakh Girls, Women Missing in 3 Years - NCRB
Between 2019 and 2021, more than 13.13 lakh girls and women went missing in the country, with madhya pradesh having the highest number at almost two lakh, closely followed by West Bengal.

In rape cases, it required that the investigation be finished, the charge sheet filed, and the trial be finished all within two months.
