The delhi services Bill was passed in the rajya sabha on monday (August 7). 131 votes were cast in favor of the bill and 102 in opposition. In the house, apart from AAP, congress, all the constituents of the opposition coalition india strongly opposed the bill.Union home minister amit shah introduced the bill related to the delhi Ordinance in the Rajya Sabha. All the amendment proposals of the opposition were defeated in the Rajya Sabha. During the discussion on the bill, a heated argument was witnessed between amit shah and congress President MallikarjunKharge.Amit Shah said in the rajya sabha that the purpose of this bill is to ensure corruption-free administration in Delhi. With a single provision of the bill, not even an inch of change is taking place in the system which was there earlier.

"No violation of supreme Court's order"

He said that this bill does not violate the order of the supreme Court. We have brought this bill not to bring the power to the center, but to legally stop the encroachment of the delhi UT government on the power given to the center. It was told on behalf of many members that the Center has to take power in its hands. We don't need to take power because 130 crore people have given us power.
