Reportedly KSCA organized the trophy unveiling program of 2023 Maharaja t20 tournament at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday. But there was no single letter kannada in the programme. KSCA officials spoke only in english during the entire program. There was only english on the screen behind the stage. When asked about this by reporters, KSCA Vice President and Maharaja Trophy head BK sampath kumar realized that there were no kannada characters on the screen.


Then he replied with a quickness, 'There are people of different languages in Bangalore. Therefore, all languages should be used' he said. KSCA president raghuram Bhatt, a former karnataka cricketer, did not hesitate to comment. Now in karnataka, the trophy of the tournament being organized for the state cricketers is written as 'Maharaja Trophy T20' in English. This has also been objected to by many.



Legendary cricketer GR Vishwanath on thursday unveiled the trophy of the Maharaja t20 League organized by the karnataka State cricket Association (KSCA), which will start from august 13 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in the city. Cricketers mayank Aggarwal, Karun Nair, Vaishakh Vijaykumar, Shreyas Gopal, KSCA President raghuram Bhatt, Vice President sampath kumar and team owners were present in the program held at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
