Apart from State President Chaudhary Anil Kumar, the delegation included uttarakhand statein-charge and former mla Devendra Yadav, Chairman of delhi congress Communication Department andformer mla Anil Bhardwaj and former mla Vijay. Chaudhary Anil Kumar told the lg that the Delhigovernment's proposal to increase the new circle rate of agricultural land is against the people of Delhi.Because the circle rate of the proposed agricultural land has been kept differently in different districts, due towhich there is a lot of dissatisfaction among the farmers of Delhi. The circle rate of agricultural land should beuniform, because earlier also the circle rates were uniform. But with a view to benefit the land mafia and aspecial class, the delhi government has increased the circle rate of agricultural land by dividing it into thecategory of green area village, urbanized village and rural village.Demand for uniform 6 crore circle rateThe AAP government has decided the policy of increasing the agriculture land circle rate on issues related tothe interests of the farmers with political selfishness in mind. He said that while there is a proposal to fix 5crore per acre in New delhi district, 2.25 crore per acre in east district. This is the first time that there is sucha huge difference in the circle rates. Rs 3 crore per acre has been kept in North and West delhi, Rs 2.25 croreper acre in South east Delhi. He said that before this the circle rate of agricultural land in delhi was increased7 times, which was kept the same. 4.65 lakh per acre in 1990, 10 lakh per acre in 1997, 11.20 lakh per acre in1998 by Sheila Dixit government, 15.70 lakh per acre in 2001, 17.58 lakh per acre in 2005 and 53 lakh peracre in 2007. The congress party demands that the circle rate on agricultural land should be Rs 6 crore peracre and uniform throughout Delhi.
