Prime minister Narendra Modi has left for south africa to attend the BRICS summit in Johannesburg. In this meeting of

BRICS, the heads of many countries can have bilateral talks with PM Modi. It is being told that Chinese President Xi Jinping

and PM Modi may have a data-face-to-data-face meeting in johannesburg, although nothing has been said clearly about the meeting

PMO issued statement

A statement was issued from the Prime Minister's office before leaving for the BRICS summit. In this, PM Modi has given

information about his visit. "I am visiting the Republic of south africa from 22-24 august 2023 at the invitation of the

President of south africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, to participate in the 15th BRICS Summit to be held in johannesburg under the

chairmanship of south africa," the statement said. I also look forward to holding bilateral meetings with some of the

leaders present in Johannesburg. At the invitation of Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, I will travel from South

Africa to Athens, greece on 25 august 2023. This will be my first visit to this ancient land. I have the honor of being the first

Indian prime minister to visit greece after 40 years.

First meeting after Corona period
