American international banking and financial behemoth Goldman Sachs will shortly open a new, eight-story office in hyderabad, bringing the total number of employees there to 3,000. Goldman Sachs' investment is projected to have a positive impact on Hyderabad's banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) industry. The Goldman Sachs office in hyderabad now employs 1000 people.

The corporation will open its new eight-story headquarters with 2,000 experts, according to the most recent development plan, bringing the number of employees in hyderabad to 3000. According to a formal statement, the new office will become a centre of excellence for platform engineering, business analytics, and consumer banking services. The unit will also concentrate on cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.

On wednesday in New York, IT and industries Minister KT Rama Rao met with Goldman Sachs executives. Later, Rama Rao claimed that the telangana government's attempts to make hyderabad a preferred location for BFSI companies were having a favourable impact. He said that efforts to support the BFSI sector had greatly boosted Hyderabad's appeal as a financial hub and that Goldman Sachs' expansion will further solidify Hyderabad's status as a BFSI hub.

Leading companies including MassMutual, HSBC, State Street, Berkadia, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and Invesco had already established themselves in the city and were enduring multidimensional expansion every year, he claimed. According to Goldman Sachs, the new location will act as a crucial innovation centre for many aspects of the company's operations, further strengthening its image throughout the world. The telangana government's progressive policies, Hyderabad's robust BFSI ecosystem, and this city's investment-friendly atmosphere had all encouraged the company to extend its activities here.
