As Chandrayaan-3 became successful, the Nehru Planetarium in the city reached its peak. Thousands of students, science enthusiasts and people gathered here on wednesday to witness the soft landing. Arrangements were made for viewing the soft landing scene from 5 pm. 8-10 feet high LED screens were installed in the planetarium.


It was special that the scientists made the information of Chandrayaan moment by moment understandable to common people by giving an explanation in Kannada. parents brought their little ones to the planetarium. About 24 posters with information on many interesting aspects about the moon were arranged. A handbook containing scientific information about the moon was distributed to the public. What are the processes of soft-landing for scientists and the public? What are the steps taken by isro scientists for this? He explained what would happen at the final moment. In addition, Pragyan explained all the researches to be carried out in the coming days. He also answered the questions of the students. Special pooja all over the city for the success of Chandrayaan-3: Special pooja kainkarya was held on wednesday in various temples including Gavi Gangadhareshwar temple and Banashankari temple in the city to pray for the successful landing of the vikram lander on the moon. He performed Navgraha Puja and Chandra Homa for one hour under the leadership of Chief Priest Somasunder Dixit at Gavigangadhareshwar temple in Gavipur. Mahaganapati homa, five data-faces of Ishvara, Chandrahoma and Navagraha Puja were performed on the completion of Chandrayana-3 without fail.


The initiates said that a special pooja has been performed to ensure that the landing is auspicious. The pooja was conducted by the governing body and management committee at the Banashankari temple. They prayed with the national flag behind the rocket model and Prabhavali before God. President A.H. Basavaraju and Chief Priest Chandramohan and a group of priests offered special pooja. Assistant Executive Officer of the temple Basavaraju, Superintendent srinivas Murthy, Member of the Governing Body venkatesh pooja participated in the Kainkarya.


Also, in Basavanagudi big Ganapati temple, Ganapati was decorated with butter and worship was performed with national anthem. An idol of Chandradev was worshiped at the Kadumallikarjuna temple in Malleswara. A special prayer was also conducted at the Gangadhareshwar temple in Mahalakshmepur district. people everywhere participated and begged for the expected results of the efforts of the scientists.

ISRO President visits Ayyappa: Bengaluru: isro President S. somnath visited the Ayyappaswamy temple in Jalahalli, Bengaluru and offered special pooja for the success of the Vikrama lander on the moon. He along with a team of scientists offered a special pooja for Chandrayaan-3's successful soft landing. Earlier during the rocket launch, a team of scientists visited Chengalamma Devi of Sullurpet, tirupati and offered prayers.
