G20 Summit: Guests will also stay in five star hotels

All institutions, private offices, shops and markets in most of the surrounding areas including Pragati Maidan

including New Delhi, Lutyen’s Zone will remain closed from 12 midnight on 7th september to 11th September.

Whereas, british prime minister Rishi Sunak and the officials and representatives accompanying him will stay at

Sangrila Eros Hotel. Apart from them, guests from germany will also stay in this hotel. At the same time, the

President of france and the officials accompanying him will stay at the Hotel Claridges on the road adjacent to

Janpath. Whereas in NCR's Gurugram-Manesar's Hyatt, rooms have also been booked for foreign guests. The

entire delegation including the prime minister of Australia, officials will be accommodated at Hotel Imperial.

Preparation to take guests to these markets

During this conference, there is a plan to take foreign guests to 9 markets including the famous Connaught Place

of the capital. For which preparations are being made. Preparations are on to take foreign guests to Connaught

Place, Khan Market, bengali Market, Malcha Market, Sarojini nagar Market, Janpath Market etc. For this, after

removing the encroachments from these markets, the administration has instructed NDMC and MCD to keep

cleanliness continuously. Painting of shops in Connaught Place has also been done. At present, chandni Chowk

is not included in the list of these markets, but keeping in view the possibilities of arrival of guests, preparations

have been completed.
