New centre at IIT Hyderabad to promote women participation in innovation and tech
The Andhra Mahila Sabha (AMS), Neer Interactive Solutions, and IIT hyderabad worked together to build CGDT, a cutting-edge institute for geospatial AI and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital twin technologies. This institute will be crucial in helping female students find career options and business ventures. On the campus of IITH, on Friday, august 25, AMS and Neer Interactive Solutions Private Limited signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this respect.
The centre will be led by four eminent directors who will also act as the financial signing authority. For initiatives started by the centre, jai Sankar, the director and CEO of Neer Interactive Solutions, will serve as the project director and liaison.
The collaboration will cover a wide range of topics, including the creation of Geo AI models for various applications, the design of BIM-GIS solutions, the integration of Wireless and IoT technologies, the improvement of safety procedures for shipyards and ports, and the implementation of data analytics for security and monitoring. According to IITH director Prof. BS Murty, "the centre will provide a platform to invent and innovate in technology for humanity and tackle some of the most pressing challenges in today's world."
