Telangana BRS extends Rs 1.5 crore to Saichand’s family
The BRS has offered Rs 1.5 crore in financial support to v Saichand, a well-known folk singer and the former head of the telangana State Warehousing Corporation. A cheque for Rs. 1 crore was given to Saichand's wife Rajini, while a cheque for Rs. 50 lakh was given to Saichand's parents and sister in Mahabubnagar.
Education minister P. Sabitha indra Reddy paid a visit to Saichand's home in Gurramguda on monday as directed by BRS President and chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao. They were accompanied by mla Manchireddy Kishan reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Anitha reddy, and BRS State leader Dasoju Sravan. Rajini, who is presently the chair of the telangana State Warehousing Corporation, received a check for Rs 1 crore from them.
Rajini praised chief minister Chandrashekhar Rao for his steadfast support of their family throughout his speech. She thought back to Saichand's praise of the Chief Minister's commitment to advancing art on a worldwide scale. They presented cheque worth Rs 1 crore to Rajini who is currently serving as the chairperson of the telangana State Warehousing Corporation.
