Revanth Reddy continues tall promises
When making pledges to win over people, the congress seems to have no bounds. A revanth reddy, the head of the tpcc, urged farmers to take out loans and make late payments, promising to waive off farm debts up to Rs. 2 lakh, and on monday he pledged that if the congress won a majority, it would provide residential petrol cylinders for Rs. 500.

However, tpcc vice president Mallu ravi claimed that before making any promises to the populace, the congress was considering all factors. He said that the SC/ST announcement was only made public after careful research and analysis and that the party would only contemplate programme execution after determining its viability in the budget.

AICC telangana incharge Manikrao Thakare categorically denied any such conversations had taken place a day after speculative rumours of a meeting between the congress party and Left parties over a seat-sharing arrangement circulated on social media. In a discussion with the media on monday, he stated that pacts were party choices based on philosophy, and that such decisions would not be made without the participation of tpcc president revanth reddy and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka.
