As children of Bharat, the country, we are really pleased that we are celebrating Raksha Bandhan in the country and in this planet right now. "We have touched down on Chandrayaan, the Moon. We are thus quite proud of our space scientists. And we appreciate our honourable prime minister for putting us in this predicament. Now, in addition to the Moon, we will also soon approach the Sun. Our scientists made a terrific decision with that endeavour, she continued.
She was speaking at the Samskruti Foundation's (SF) "Rakhi for Soldiers" event. The governor encouraged young people to study the work of the nation's space experts. She said that bondage, devotion, and affection were the reasons why the nation could succeed with the Chandrayan-3 mission. "Our pride is that we are one nation, despite the fact that there are so many states, so many languages, so many customs, and so many different civilizations. That is the Raksha Bandhan of servitude, she explained.
She praised the Hyderabad-based NGO Samskruti Foundation for arranging the programme. She said that the military keep the nation secure. The NGO claimed to be working to protect and advance Bharatiya culture and ethics. On this special occasion, the governor tied rakhi to troops and others.
