Is India also a member of ICC? Why Putin not attending G-20?

india is not a member of ICC, which means that india is not bound to follow any rules and orders issued by

ICC. An example of this can be taken from 2015 when former Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir

came to india for the india Africa Forum. ICC had also issued a warrant against him. According to media

reports, at that time the international Criminal court had asked india to cooperate with him for his arrest, but

india did not cooperate with him.

Now an official statement has come from russia that Putin will not participate in the G-20 conference, but

many reasons are being given for this. The first reason is russia Ukraine War. It has just been told that

Putin's entire attention is there. Just a few days ago, Wagner Chief Prigozhin died in a plane crash. Which

some people are also giving the name of murder because he raised his voice against the President of Russia.

So it is also being said in many media reports that the President of russia is worried that the Wagner Army

might attack. In such a situation, it will not be safe for the President of russia to go anywhere else until all

these circumstances are resolved. The arrest of Putin is also being talked about in all this, but the arrest of

Putin is not that easy either. One, when the ICC had issued this arrest warrant, russia had opposed it even at

that time. Along with this, many immunities are given to the Head of State under international Criminal

Law. So that rule applies to the President of russia also. That's why arresting Putin is not so easy.
