Telangana's citizens will soon have relief from the oppressive heat as Telangana's heavy rains are expected to return on
september 1 according to the
india Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad. The weather
service predicts that from
september 1 to
september 3, 2023,
telangana will have thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued by the weather
service for the state for
friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The department has predicted moderate rain or thundershowers for
hyderabad on
friday and Saturday. It has also predicted cloudy conditions in the morning.
Till Thursday, the state of
telangana is expected to have scattered thundershowers or mild to moderate rainfall, according to the
telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS). According to TSDPS, the Vikarabad
district in
telangana had the greatest rainfall yesterday, totaling 40.5 mm, while
bandlaguda in
hyderabad recorded the highest rainfall, totaling 3.5 mm.
Telangana has now had average rainfall during the current monsoon season. Compared to the usual level of 566.9 mm, the state has had an average rainfall of 642.2 mm.

hyderabad has had cumulative rainfall during the current monsoon season of 463.9 mm, which is more than the city's normal of 455.9 mm. Shaikpet and Maredpally recorded the largest divergence of 22%.
