Bittu Bajrangi, arrested in Nuh violence case, got bail

Bittu Bajrangi, an alleged cow protector who was arrested in connection with the communal clashes in Nuh in the

beginning of august, was granted bail by a court on Wednesday. police gave this information. Bajrangi was

produced in Nuh court on august 17, after which he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. He is lodged in

Neemka jail located in faridabad district.

Nuh police said that after hearing the bail application of Bajrangi on Wednesday, the court of Judicial Magistrate

(First Class) sandeep Kumar granted him bail. Bittu Bajrangi alias Rajkumar was arrested from faridabad after

an FIR was lodged at Nuh Sadar police station on the complaint of Assistant Superintendent of police Usha

Kundu.

Allegation of misbehavior with police

According to the FIR, Bajrangi, identified through social media posts, along with some of his unidentified

supporters had allegedly misbehaved and threatened the police team led by ASP Kundu. Kundu had stopped him

from taking the sword and 'Trishul' to the Nalhad temple. Kundu said that when the mob was asked to stop, they

started raising slogans against the police, scuffled with them and also snatched their weapons kept in police

vehicles.

Was arrested for brandishing a weapon

Police said Bajrangi, president of cow Protection Bajrang Force, was initially detained for questioning by the

crime investigation agency team of Tawdu. On august 1, a day after communal clashes broke out in Nuh on July

31, Bajrangi was arrested by the faridabad police for allegedly making inflammatory speeches and waving

weapons in public
