Global port operator DP World to invest Rs.215 crores in Telangana

DP World, one of the biggest port operators in the world, has made the decision to extend its operations in telangana by investing Rs. 215 crore. After meeting with Group EVP (Corporate Finance and business Development) Anil Mohta in dubai on Tuesday, industries minister KT Rama Rao made this declaration. Along with increasing its activities, the business would invest Rs. 165 crore in hyderabad to establish its inland container facility.

He also talked about the agriculture sector's explosive rise.

The DP World disclosed its intentions to make investments in the State's cold storage and warehousing industry. At Medchal, a cold storage facility with a 5000 pallet capacity and international standards will be built. The business notified the industries minister that an investment of Rs. 50 crore will be made in this direction.


The world-famous DP World's investment in telangana, according to the industries minister, would help the State's logistics industry grow even further. The minister promised that the State government will provide the business all the assistance it needs to grow its activities there.
