After the incident, the city council and the Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department have taken steps to build a pipe line and a clean drinking water plant. With a grant of Rs 3.07 crore from the Municipal Council, new pipe line will be installed for the entire Kavadigarh, new pipe connection from house to house, 2.5 lakh liter capacity over hood tank and repair of Hirekandawadi water purification plant will be done. With the grant of Rs.16.50 lakh from the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, along with the drilling of a new borewell in Kavadigara Hatti, the department will construct a 1,000 liter capacity pure drinking water unit and maintain the unit for 5 years, informed minister Sudhakar.
It is a matter of happiness that Kavadigarhatti development work has been initiated. The development work should be completed as soon as possible to benefit the people of our area. People's representatives and officials of our district have responded well since last one month. Similarly, the demand of the local residents is to play a major role in the completion of the work and complete the development work soon. Overall, it is a good thing that the government and the district administration have come forward to develop the area so that the incident that happened in the past in Kavadigarhatti should not happen again. The officials should finish the work as soon as possible and maintain the peace of the people there.
