Telugu Desam chairman N. chandrababu naidu should file a defamation lawsuit in regard to the I-T notifications, according to YSRC state joint secretary Karumuri Venkata Reddy, if he is "innocent." "Chandrababu's silence regarding IT notifications indicates an admission of guilt. At a press conference he conducted here on Friday, he said Naidu should stand trial without asking for a delay.

As a result of the discovery of an unaccounted Rs 118 crore in the amaravati works, according to Venkata Reddy, Chandrababu, who plundered thousands of crores of dollars while in office, is now caught in the crossfire. Naidu, meanwhile, has not responded to the IT notifications. "Can't you file a defamation suit against the I-T department if you believe that it has issued false notices?" he questioned Naidu. A trial may be requested in court and The Centre may be named as defendants. But you (Naidu) aren't doing that because you're afraid you'll be involved in additional amaravati frauds if things get complicated.
