Former Deputy chief minister and rajya sabha member sushil kumar modi said that on one hand, Under Chief
Secretary (ACS) of the education Department, kk Pathak, is trying to insult governor Rajendra Vishwanath
Arlekar, who comes from the Dalit community. But on the other hand they are bent upon showing the mirror to
JDU regarding the plight of education. The people of this party continued to be the education minister for 15
years. When the education department went to RJD quota, the chief minister made controversial kk Pathak ACS
to keep minister Chandra Shekhar (Prof. Chandra Shekhar) under control.
Chandrashekhar did not go to office for 22 days – Sushil Kumar Modi
sushil kumar modi said that due to Pathak's working style, the situation became such that Chandrashekhar did not
go to office for 22 days. If the education department is in such a bad state that to improve it, now any officer has to
take strict measures like mass salary cut and suspension, then JDU should take responsibility for this failure and
apologize to the parents of lakhs of poor students.
Questions raised on Nitish government regarding kk Pathak
The rajya sabha member said that if kk Pathak's working style of bullying and using the stick of law is right,
then why has he not been able to stay in any department till now? Pathak was brought to the education department
for the second time. The chief minister should tell why he had to be removed from departments like Production,
Mining, Transport and Registration and for how long will he keep troubling the government by staying in the
education department?
