Telangana Muslim Group Calls of Milad Juloos to prevent untoward incidents

Muslims have chosen to postpone the milad-un-nabi juloos this year to avoid adverse situations as a gesture to promote interfaith cooperation. This year, on september 28, milad-un-nabi falls on the same day as the Ganesh idol immersion procession for the first time in more than 30 years. It was believed that antisocial organizations may cause disturbances. 


Since it was a significant event and dependent on the moon's appearance, many Muslims were initially wary about changing the date. To commemorate milad-un-nabi, around 100 sizable processions are usually taken out. In a video message, Syed Ghulam Samdani ali Quadri of the Seerat-un-Nabi Academy, one of the several organizations that organize Milad processions, urged the members, particularly youngsters, to forgo rallies in favor of visiting masjids and aiding impoverished people.   


According to the information obtained, some organizations have chosen to remove the julus after the immersion is complete. All three police commissionerates have been meeting with leaders and members of both groups while putting together intricate security plans for september 28. milad-un-nabi this year coincides with the Ganesh idol immersion procession on september 28. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
