The Old City Declaration for the party was almost ready, according to sameer Waliullah, head of the hyderabad District congress Committee (DCC), who made the announcement on Sunday. He claimed it would provide answers to a variety of problems that have dogged the Old City for years as a result of the mim and the BRS government's negligence.
Separate meetings with TD vice-president ali Masqati, Tahreek Muslim Shabbir president Mohammed Mushtaq Mallik, MBT spokesperson Amjedullah Khan, senior TD leader and ex-corporator Muzaffarullah Khan, and leaders of a few other notable organizations were held by sameer Waliullah, tpcc spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin, and other congress leaders. They talked about numerous concerns relating to the Old City and potential fixes that may be included in the congress agenda.
"We are covering about 25 broader issues related to the Old City, along with suggesting possible solutions," Waliullah said. We previously reported that the state government had approved a budget of Rs. 100 crore for the expansion of government hospitals, which would significantly improve the health care services in the old city. The cash will be used to renovate the hospitals in Barkas, Kamatipura, and Dabeerpura and add 200 more beds overall. Additionally, there are plans to restore and renovate the government Nizamia Tibbi Medical college and Hospital's heritage building.
