People of Maratha community should get reservation – CM Shinde
Reportedly the opposition is attacking the government over the lathicharge that took place during the maratha ReservationProtest in Jalna. Meanwhile, cm Eknath Shinde has held a meeting in mumbai on this issue. After the meeting,the statement of cm Shinde has come to the fore. He said, I want to tell the agitating people that the people whoare coming to meet you are coming there only for their politics. Let us tell you that MNS Chief raj Thackeraytold the agitators.CM Shinde said, Earlier, a total of 58 small and big movements were conducted regarding maratha reservation.All the agitations were done in a peaceful manner. maratha society is a peace loving society. Some people, underthe guise of agitation, have worked to spoil the atmosphere of the state. If we had not been committed to Marathareservation, the maratha community would not have got the reservation that it got when devendra fadnavis wasthe Chief Minister.Attacking the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi alliance, cm Shinde said, "Today you are doing politics but whostopped you when you were in power?" The bombay high court accepted our views. Reservation was given tothe maratha community. But the supreme court canceled it. I will not say much about the supreme Court'sdecision. I am telling you that people of maratha community should get reservation. Everything should sit in thelegal framework. We are working on this. Task force has been formed. I want to tell the people of Marathacommunity that the government is thinking honestly about your interests. Have a little patience.Wrong information being spread among the people- cm ShindeAppealing to the agitators, cm Shinde said, "I want to say to the agitating people that those who are reaching tomeet you are only reaching to do their politics." Avoid such people. The director General of police isinvestigating the entire matter. Whatever comes out in the investigation, action will be taken accordingly. I wantto tell Manoj Zarange Patil (Maratha leader) that the government is with you. The movement is being carried outunder the leadership of Manoj Jarange Patil.
