The bharatiya janata party (BJP), according to Finance minister T harish rao, is considering holding "One Nation One Election" (Jamili polls) because it is concerned about losing the next elections for five State Assemblies. Along with attempting to capitalise politically on the divides between india and Pakistan, the Centre was also seeking to create religious enmity across groups as a result of the saffron party's declining support in Telangana.

The minister spoke to the crowd after officially opening the Integrated Divisional Level office in Husnabad on Wednesday, asking the attendees to choose between supporting the party that had introduced the anti-farmer laws into parliament and the party that was bringing drinking water to every home in the State. Regarding the statements made by the congress party, harish rao claimed that telangana has changed under the administration of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and that the people had already declared their support for chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the next elections.

Harish Rao also wanted an explanation from the congress over the proportion of promises made during the 2009 elections that were maintained. He recalled how Captain v Lakshmikantha Rao and his son mla v sathish Kumar had supported the BRS (then TRS) during the telangana movement and how the telangana government had constructed the Gouravelly reservoir by spending Rs 2,500 crore with the goal of irrigating every acre in Husnabad constituency.

B Vinod Kumar, the vice-chairman of the Planning Commission, v Roja Sharma, the chairwoman of the Zilla Parishad, and others were present.
