Telangana High Court had stayed the Promotions of Government teachers
Up to september 19, the telangana High court had put a hold on the promotions of government educators in the ranga reddy area. A number of teachers who had petitioned the court to express their worries over the current promotions based on the tentative seniority list received temporary relief when Justice P madhavi Devi of the HC delayed the cases. After the issue of GO No. 317, the petitioners' legal counsel claimed that the respondents identified personnel from other districts as a member of the local cadre of ranga reddy district.

He asked that the case be set for september 19, 2023 so that written instructions may be given. The court reiterated that the respondents were not permitted to move forward with the promotions based on the provisional seniority list for the time being after taking into account the arguments from both sides.
