Former chief minister Harish Rawat is raising the issues of Haridwar prominently. On september 23, he has announced

to surround the cm residence with the farmers. Harish Rawat demands that farmers should be compensated for the

losses incurred in the disaster. Another veteran Harak Singh Rawat is also preparing to contest from Haridwar Lok

Sabha seat.
