KTR Slams BJP & Congress for Vote Bank Politics and NOT DEVELOPING TELANGANA
Prime minister Narendra Modi and the bharatiya janata party (BJP) came under scathing criticism from BRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao for their alleged divisionist policies and neglect of Telangana's demands. He mocked the six congressional guarantees and pressed them to name a state where they were being carried out. At telangana Bhavan here on Tuesday, Rama Rao formally enrolled Koneru chinna Satyanarayana, the district president of the bjp, and other bhadradri Kothagudem district leaders in the BRS.
The BRS working president spoke to the crowd and lambasted the Modi-led bjp administration for failing to fulfill its commitments to the country, particularly Telangana. "The BJP-led Centre transferred five mandals from the former khammam district to andhra pradesh shortly after the State's formation, handed over the Lower Sileru Hydel Power Station, and also failed to implement provisions under the andhra pradesh Reorganisation Act in the last nine years," he claimed.
Rama Rao attacked Modi's election promises, claiming that the prime minister has failed to follow through on promises to recover black money and generate two crore employment annually. He charged that Modi was favoring his business associates at the expense of government agencies. He lambasted the bjp administration for its inability to rein in inflation, unemployment, and the rising cost of gasoline and LPG cylinders. Despite condemning the previous UPA government for the same problems, he also brought up the rupee's decline versus the US dollar. He asserted that the bjp lacks answers to the nation's urgent problems.
The industries minister claimed that the bjp was using 'cheap politics' to distract from its mistakes in order to maintain power at the Centre. This included efforts to take advantage of communal tensions, deceive the public, and sow division among them. "The kashmir Files," "The kerala Story," and now "Razakar Files" are examples of how the bjp has tried to influence emotions by reopening old wounds, he claimed.
Rama Rao compared the K Chandrashekhar Rao administration to that of Modi, emphasizing the Rythu Bandhu scheme's payout of Rs 73,000 crore to 70 lakh farmers. He also made fun of bjp State President G. kishan reddy for organizing demonstrations against telangana unemployment as Modi's pledge to create two crore jobs annually went unmet.

He pressed the leaders of the congress to identify any state where the congress is in power that is carrying out the six guarantees recently given for Telangana.
Rama Rao stated that more money than the State budget would be needed to carry out the promises made by the Congress. "I am not sure about the congress party's six electoral guarantees, but I can guarantee that the people of telangana will witness power holidays, street fights for water, line-ups for fertilisers, the end of Rythu Bandhu and Dalit Bandhu, political unpredictability with a change in the chief minister every year, and also a permanent dent to Telangana's growth," he said.
