Hussain Sagar's immediate surroundings have undergone a significant shift in recent months. A beautiful lakeside park will soon be present in the region, joining the State Secretariat, Ambedkar Statue, and Martyrs' Memorial. In a post on X on Tuesday, Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister KT Rama Rao unveiled the park's images.
He added a happy emoji and commented, "A brand new addition to central hyderabad around the well-known Hussain Sagar Lake." The hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is responsible for creating the park that is situated directly adjacent to Jalavihar. Another park nearby, this 10-acre expanse of lush greenery with red and yellow bridges is anticipated to see the most visitors on the weekends. The minister wrote informing everyone that the park would soon be opened, "Hope you all will visit and enjoy the beautiful Boardwalk."
While the city has been proud of the buddha monument in the lake for more than 30 years, Ambedkar's bronze statue, which was recently erected close to the lake's banks, is proving to be an additional draw for tourists. The famous Tank Bund route on the lake, which separates the twin towns of hyderabad and Secunderabad, will now receive additional glitz from the park. Hussain Sagar is the oldest and most well-liked public gathering area in the city because of its prime location, stunning natural surroundings, boating amenities, and proximity to parks, restaurants, and an Imax theatre.
