The Ghatkesar police detained a 26-year-old guy for allegedly defrauding individuals under the pretence of finding them jobs in the police department while disguising himself as a police official. The suspect, 26-year-old kusuma Prashanth, resides in Venkatasai Nagar, which is part of the Ghatkesar mandal of the medchal Malkajgiri district. From the accused's possession, police seized one uniform, two mobile phones, one pair of shoes, one pair of khaki socks, and Rs. 21,300.
A case was registered after Kalakuntla Prasad, a 40-year-old professional driver, filed a complaint. On Monday, september 18, Prashanth was detained at Yamnampet X Road following a comprehensive inquiry. During questioning, the suspect admitted that he had defrauded innocent persons who were applying for police positions by posing as a reserved sub-inspector while wearing a police uniform. Under the guise of assisting them in getting a position with the police, he took money from them.

While Rakesh was searching for a job, he came across Ashwini, who introduced herself as a police constable working in Gachibowli.She offered him a job as an assistant to a senior advocate at the nampally Court with a monthly salary of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 and collected Rs 30,000 from him.
