Telangana Muslim family in Khammam sets up Ganesh pandal
He, his father Babu Lal, wife Tasleema, uncle Abdul Majeed, and other family members have been erecting the Ganesh pandal in the sixth block of kcr Towers at their own expense for the past couple of years. Mohammed told india Herald that his entire family supports him in his mission to promote religious tolerance. To plan the festivities, he formed the Ganesh Maharaj Utsav Committee and included members of his family.
A few young people at kcr Towers have shown interest in working with him to plan the festival. Throughout the holiday, every member of his family actively participates in puja rites. He claimed that ancient and devoted rituals like kumkuma pooja and Saraswathi puja are being done. Mohammed claimed that throughout the event, he also leads annadanam. The Ganesh idol was presented this time by a donor named G Balaraj, while another donor named Tupakula Srinu sponsored a tractor for the "Shobayatra," which he hosted for the second time at the towers.
I prefer to organise the celebrations with my own funds, but if people provide donations, we would take them, he stated. He said that Mohammed Javeed, a benefactor, had organised annadanam the previous year. Residents of the towers from the Hindu, Muslim, and Christian faiths coexist together there and share in the event. We adhere to Telangana's longstanding tradition of intercommunal cooperation, he said.
Mohammed, who owns a mutton store and works in real estate, expressed his desire for the Muslim, Christian, and Hindu groups in the nation to live side by side in harmony. He said, "It is tragic that people struggle over religions and do not comprehend spiritual unity.
