Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and a member of parliament from hyderabad, has made a suggestion that some of the party's MLAs should be switched around for the 2018 telangana assembly elections. He declared, "No final decision has been taken on who would run in the elections this time, during a recent public meeting held in Hyderabad. Even currently serving MLAs are concerned about getting a ticket. "Honesty, everyone is a deserving candidate," he continued. But a choice has to be made, and it will be."
I am uncertain about contesting LS poll, says Asaduddin Owaisi
"I am also unsure whether I will be contesting the 2024 lok sabha election," asaduddin owaisi continued. This information comes as media sources claim that Nooruddin Owaisi, the son of AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, and former hyderabad mayor Majid Hussain are expected to win AIMIM tickets for the next assembly elections. It is yet unknown if AIMIM would appoint new MLAs to make room for additional ticket applicants or if the party will run candidates in more than seven hyderabad seats.
