Delhi Air Pollution: Delhi CM released Winder Action Plan

Delhi cm arvind kejriwal addressed a press conference on Friday. Releasing the delhi government’s action

plan (Winter Action Plan) regarding pollution, he said that the air pollution in the capital has reduced by 30

percent.

Reduction in both pm2.5 and pm10

Delhi cm arvind kejriwal said that many steps have been taken to reduce pollution in Delhi. Most emphasis

is being laid on measures to reduce air pollution. In comparison to the year 2014, the level of pollution has

decreased by 30 percent in 2023. There has been a decrease in both PM2.5 and PM10 in Delhi.

Delhi government purchased 7135 buses


Delhi cm said that earlier there was a shortage of buses and people used to travel in their own vehicles. We

have bought many buses. 7135 buses have been purchased in delhi, of which 800 are electric buses. Most of

the electric vehicles are being purchased in Delhi.

Emphasis on tree planting

Arvind kejriwal said while talking to the media that generally trees are cut with development. Green area is

less. Earlier there was 20% green area which has now become 23%. Many trees have been planted. There has

been a ban on cutting of trees for construction. Now emphasis is also being laid on tree plantation.
