Telangana - Traffic Woes on JNTU-Kukatpally road due to New Mall and Short Vacation

SIBY JEYYA
On Friday, commuters were stuck on the JNTU-Kukatpally for about an hour due to heavy traffic. Due to the long weekend and the gandhi Jayanti holiday on Monday, many people hurry to leave the city for weekend getaways or trips back to their hometowns. Perhaps the lure of a brand-new mall contributed to the flurry.

According to Satheesh Kumar, a resident of Nizampet, the traffic gridlock began at 6 o'clock. kukatpally to Nizampet through KPHB and JNTU traffic was backed up. He said, "Spending so much time in traffic is really aggravating. I've been sitting in my car for more than an hour now, said Ramesh, a fellow commuter. Even if it's frequent, the sight is nonetheless irritating. Although we are looking for alternate routes, we have been caught in traffic for quite some time.

"Due to the continuous holidays, all the malls are crowded with people, resulting in heavy traffic on the roads," stated kukatpally traffic police inspector Venkatesh. We're doing everything we can to control the problem, but it's taking longer than normal. One of the commoners told us that they have lost patience by waiting in the traffic for more than 2 hours.
