Government employees agitating for OPS got support from AAP
Government employees of many states have gathered at Ramlila Maidan in delhi demanding the restoration ofOPS (Old Pension Scheme). At present, there is a huge crowd of government employees in Ramlila Maidan, all ofthem are demanding the Modi government to restore the old pension scheme through agitation. Now thismovement is also getting support from political parties. Lakhs of government employees got the full support ofthe Aam Aadmi Party.Sanjay Singh addressed government employeesToday, aam aadmi party mp sanjay singh welcomed the government employees at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.He greeted him from the stage and promised to give him full support. Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait was alsoseen on the stage along with AAP mp Sanjay Singh. He also supported the movement of government employees.Sanjay Singh said that the employees of the country opened a front against the Modi government regarding therestoration of old pension. If a person who has been an mla or mp for 40 days gets pension for his whole life,then why not pension for an employee who has worked for 40 years? Arvind Kejriwal’s slogan is Where AAPrules, there is old pension.OPS is applicable in 5 statesLet us tell you, organizations associated with the National Movement for Old Pension Scheme have participatedin this rally. delhi Police has not given permission to set up tents in the ground, yet a large number of itsemployees have come to take part in the rally. The demand for caste census and old pension scheme has become amajor issue in the 2024 lok sabha elections. Lakhs of farmers and employees are demanding the restoration ofthe old pension scheme of the Modi government. At present, the old pension scheme is applicable in 5 states ofthe country which include congress ruled Rajasthan, chhattisgarh and Himachal and Grand Alliance governmentJharkhand. OPS is also implemented in punjab in 2022.
