AP - Chandrababu Naidu’s Wife Launches Campaign To Thank People for Supporting Arrested TDP Chief
Nara bhuvaneshwari, the wife of jailed telugu desam party (TDP) president N chandrababu naidu, joined tdp supporters on a hunger strike on monday in Rajamahendravaram, east godavari district, to protest her husband's imprisonment. tdp is holding a hunger strike throughout the state in protest of the former CM's detention. The 'Nijam Gelavali' campaign was also launched by nara bhuvaneshwari, the daughter of previous Andhra chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, to thank the people of andhra pradesh for their "overwhelming love and support" of chandrababu naidu and for "choosing the side of truth and righteousness."
The criminal Investigation Department (CID) detained Naidu on september 9 in connection with the multi-million dollar skill development fraud investigation. Prior to beginning her day-long hunger strike, nara bhuvaneshwari paid respect to mahatma gandhi on the occasion of gandhi Jayanti. women from all throughout andhra pradesh participated in the strike and showed their support for the tdp by doing so.
