In just 48 hours, 31 people died in a government hospital in Nanded, Maharashtra. Yesterday, Monday, the hospital reported 24 deaths in 24 hours, and the number rose to 31 on Tuesday. Apart from that, the condition of 71 people is said to be critical. congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge said in a statement on Monday, "The news of the death of 24 patients, including 12 children, at a government hospital in Nanthet, maharashtra is very painful and disturbing. A similar incident took place in a government hospital in thane in august 2023, in which 18 patients died due to lack of medicines and treatment." Said that.


In a statement issued by director of Medical education and Research, Dr dilip Maisekhar, said a committee has been set up to investigate the deaths. He also informed that maharashtra Medical education Minister Hasan Mushrif will visit the hospital on Tuesday.
