A 12-month-old infant's parents staged a protest in front of the puducherry Jipmar Hospital, alleging wrongful treatment. Thiaku hails from Nettapakkam, Puducherry. It is said that the child went into a coma after being given the wrong medicine before taking an MRI scan at the hospital on august 1. After this, the doctors are continuing to treat the child with a ventilator. It is said that the child's parents and relatives neglected to give correct answers when they asked the doctors about the child's condition. A case has been registered on the basis of a police complaint filed against the child's relative for questioning the doctor. The child is being treated on a ventilator for the last 2 months.

They are said to have ignored the doctor on behalf of the Democratic party of India. In this case, more than 50 people of the child's relatives and the indian Democratic party protested against the Jipmar administration for not informing about the child's true treatment status, demanding the arrest of the Jipmar doctor who gave wrong treatment, and demanding justice for the victim's parents.


Then they suddenly staged a picket in front of Jibmar Hospital on puducherry Chennai Road, causing traffic disruption for about 30 minutes. After this, the police force arrived there and arrested the child's father, mother, relatives and Democratic party of india executives by force and arrested them. Then there was a fierce struggle between the police and the protestors.
