Roja received criticism from telugu Mahila President of tdp, Vangalapudi Anitha, for her hypocrisy and was told not to cry crocodile tears. She questioned Roja about her quiet when YSRCP leaders previously used assembly sessions to make derogatory statements against Nara Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of CBN. She went on to denounce Roja's vile remarks about Nara Bhrahmani in her most recent press conference.
Anitha questioned Roja's morals for remaining silent while women in her own party were mistreated and subjected to abuse. Anitha pleaded with Roja to remember her harsh attitude in assembly sessions and her comments about tdp leaders in interviews with the media. The YSRCP is doing its best to draw attention to Bandaru's comments and paint the opposition as being unpopular with the general public while the tdp cadre is defending Bandaru's words as a tit-for-tat strategy and started distributing some old recordings of Roja and other leaders.
