Telangana's political climate has become more tense as the state prepares for the
2019 assembly elections. In the meanwhile, a pre-poll study for the
telangana elections produced unexpected predictions. The BRS wants to serve a third straight term in
office while the
bjp is aiming to take over in Telangana. The Congress, on the other hand, is making every effort to regain control of the state.
Telangana Pre-Poll SurveyEven though the
bjp has made great efforts to capture power in
telangana, a pre-election poll done by Lok Poll found that the
party is only predicted to win 2-3 seats. Surprisingly, the poll forecasts that the
indian national congress (INC) would win 61–67 seats and establish the
telangana administration. In the 2018
telangana assembly elections, the BRS is predicted to win 45–51 seats, according to the pre-election poll. Additionally, it foresees that the number of AIMIM seats will be 6–8.
The TRS, now known as the BRS, became the
government in the last
telangana assembly elections after winning 88 of the 119 seats, a major increase in its seat share of 25.
The INC, on the other hand, saw a fall in seat share from 21 to 19, while AIMIM was able to secure 7 seats.
raja Singh won the seat for the Goshamahal
assembly constituency, and despite the BJP's best attempts to create a
government, they could only manage to obtain one seat. The saffron
party lost five seats, falling to one.
Whether
kcr will be able to hold the position of
chief minister for a third straight term will make
history in South India.
