Many important decisions were taken in the ttd governing body. ttd Chairman bhumana karunakar reddy explained the decisions of the governing body to the media. ttd Trust Board has decided to conduct Anunityam Srinivasa Divyanugrah special homam at Alipiri Vaddagala Sapthagopradakshina Mandir in Tirupati. ttd Dharmakartala Mandal President Bhumana Karunakara reddy presided over tirumala on Monday. About 5000 contract sanitation workers of health department working under contract and outsourcing agencies in TTD. Karunakar reddy said that the governing body has approved to increase the salary of FMS sanitation workers from Rs.12 thousand to more than Rs.17 thousand. ttd Board Chairman said that the Trust Board has decided to increase the wages of the employees working in tirumala tirupati Devasthanam by Sri lakshmi Srinivasa Manpower Corporation by 3 percent every year from now on. He explained that this decision will benefit about 6,600 employees.
bhumana karunakar reddy said that it has been decided to give three percent incentive for the past services every two years to the employees who were working through societies and transferred to the corporation in recognition of their work. This scheme will be implemented from october 2023. Chairman of ttd said that in case of death of employees in the corporation, they have decided to pay Rs 2 lakh compensation to their family members. He said that approval has been given to apply the health scheme to the employees of Shree lakshmi Srinivasa Manpower Corporation for whom ESI is not applicable. This health scheme will be provided to those employees through the hospitals under the auspices of TTD. The chairman explained that this will benefit about 1500 employees who are not eligible for ESI.
Karunakar reddy said that it has been decided to send proposals to the central government requesting to announce the padma shri award to ttd court musicians Garimella balakrishna Prasad who made Annamacharya sankirtanas very popular. In tirumala, thousands of ordinary devotees are waiting for hours in temporary queues without proper facilities on the Outer Ring Road from Gogarbham Dam Circle. Permanent queues, food counters and toilets will be constructed at a cost of Rs 18 crore for the convenience of devotees. Similarly, the ttd Chairman said that the administration has approved the construction of two foot over bridges at Narayangiri Rest house Circle and Alwar Tank Road Circle.
He said the governing body has approved the tenders for the construction of walkway shelters at a cost of Rs 2.81 crore from Sri lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple to the knee step on tirumala First Ghat Road. ap Tourism is running a canteen in tirumala with the aim of providing quality meals to the pilgrims at low cost. Similarly, Karunakar reddy said that earlier it was decided to provide meals to the devotees at a low price in the annamayya building and Narayangiri canteens.
Karunakar reddy said that as part of this, the tender for the construction of the third floor of Narayangiri canteen and other development works at a cost of Rs.2.93 crore has been approved. He said that the governing body has decided to reconstruct 13 rest houses like gayathri Sadan, Srivari Kutir, TBC-53, TBC-64 etc. which were built 63 years ago in tirumala under the Cottage Donation Scheme. A decision has been taken to improve sanitation in TTD-owned temples as well as TTD-owned institutions and residential complexes.
