Telangana Elections 2023 schedule comes as disappointment as govt cannot announce policy decisions now
According to reports, the State government was considering convening a meeting of the Council of Ministers on september 29 to announce specific policy choices pertaining to new programmes and to quicken the execution of existing plans. In order to allow for changes, all the departments were informed about the cabinet meeting and requested to produce thorough reports on the state of the execution of the plans that were under their purview.
As a result, the BRS will be forced to include the new programmes in its platform as it won't be able to make any significant announcements in the lead-up to the elections. Orders were made in response to the government's announcement of many programmes, including the Pay Revision Commission, 5% interim relief for employees, and the establishment of an employee healthcare fund.
The Dalit Bandhu, for which funds were distributed to recipients before the huzurabad bye-elections, is another programme that has been in existence for more than five years, and officials believe that the poll code won't prevent it from being implemented. Once the official approval from the electoral authorities is secured, these methods are likely to be executed vigorously.
