Rajasthan Caste Survey: CM Ashok Gehlot said on caste census...
Before the rajasthan Assembly elections, Congress’s ashok gehlot government has announced caste based
census in the state. On this, bjp says that announcing caste based survey at the last moment before the
elections is a statement by Congress. cm ashok gehlot also replied to bjp on this. He said, This is the
announcement of the All india congress Committee session which we have implemented. This
announcement has been made thoughtfully. This is the sentiment under the Right to Principles within the
Constitution which is reflected in the decision of the Congress. ashok gehlot said that rahul gandhi has
also said that it is my mistake that the caste census was not conducted earlier. What more can a leader say
than this?
ashok gehlot said that it should be assumed that there will be a caste census. Women's Reservation Bill was
also introduced by Rajiv Gandhi. sonia gandhi made a lot of efforts for this. It was passed in one house but
could not be passed in the other. Now when bjp brought this bill, everyone welcomed it. Now we want them
to work for OBC women. They also have their rights, hence there should be reservation for OBC women
also within 33 percent. This is the demand of congress Party.
