Political parties began acting to follow the
election officials' instructions when the model code of conduct was implemented statewide, and political
posters, hoardings, and billboard advertisements vanished from the city's skyline.
government organizations, such as South Central Railways and the
hyderabad Metro, stated that they began removing platforms and pillars on
monday and finished it by Wednesday. While SCR authorities claimed to have eliminated the ads in
telangana, Metro officials verified that they had taken them down from all trains.
N.V.S. Reddy, managing
director of HMRL and HAML, stated: "All the advertisements that were prohibited during the
election code of conduct have been removed before the given deadline." "We also caution those who illegally paste
posters on Metro
rail properties, especially on the pillars," he stated. The
indian election commission (ECI) would punish offenders severely."
"All the stations within the
telangana region have been cleared of advertisements prohibited during the
election code of conduct," a top SCR officer declared. According to civic authorities, they are launching a dedicated campaign to take down these hoardings and billboards immediately. The
election commission is taking strict action against those who don't obey the rules and consider it a serious offence.
