Kumari Shailaja’s reply to Bhupendra Singh Hooda’s statement
congress General Secretary Kumari Selja on wednesday rejected former haryana chief minister Bhupinder
Singh Hooda’s recent statement of promising to make four Deputy Chief Ministers. He also said that now the
thing should be that with the approval of the high command, any community from among the 36 communities can
become the chief minister, because this post is not reserved for anyone. He also said that the congress high
command has not authorized any person to make a personal promise like making four Deputy Chief Ministers.
Hooda had said on tuesday that if the congress government is formed in the state, a total of four Deputy Chief
Ministers will be made from Brahmin, Dalit, Other Backward Class and any other caste of the general category.
He said that a similar promise was made in the 2019 elections also. When asked about Hooda's statement, former
haryana Pradesh congress Committee President Shailja said, Being a part of the congress, I can say that in
2019, I was the state president, such a thing (of four Deputy Chief Ministers) has never happened. It happened.
No such announcement was made at that time even by the party high command.
We are a party of 36 fraternities
Shailaja further said, What is the time to give this statement even today, what is the justification? We are a party
of 36 communities. We take everyone along. It is the decision of the high command as to who will become what.
I do not It seems that the high command has given the right to any person to make such promises and talk. The
thing should be that whoever the high command wants can become the chief minister of any of the 36
communities in Haryana. This post is reserved.
